Worship Services |
Our worship services are held:
Sunday Mornings at 10:30 a.m. and
Thursday Evenings at 7:00 p.m. -- Everyone is Invited! |
Since “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17), the preaching of the Word is an integral part of our
services. The Bible is taught from a finished work perspective, in practical messages that can help you deal with real life issues. |
There’s a nice balance between the serious and the lighthearted. People are encouraged to bring their Bibles & notebooks, in order to take
notes and meditate on the verses during the week, so as to receive the greatest benefit from what was heard during services. Also provided are sermon outlines, and Pastor
Dominick uses PowerPoint presentations, so that everyone can view his points. |
We are aware of the possibility of teaching the Word of God without the life of the Spirit. We are equally conscious of an emotional
Christianity which may elevate experience above the principles and guidelines of the Bible. Therefore, if we must call ourselves something, it would be "spirit-filled,
grace-oriented conservatives". "…Those who worship Him must worship him in spirit and truth." John 4:24. |
We want you to be able to experience the uplifting music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of Growing in
Grace Church.

Youth Ministries |
We offer Sunday School and nursery during most services. We also
offer a mother's room with babies of less than a year old to view & listen to the service off of the front room of our church.
Ages for Sunday school are 6 to 12, and nursery children should be six and under. During each service, we provide age-appropriate, relevant Bible teaching for the children.
Teens, ages 12-17, have age-appropriate, biblical studies at
each service, in a classroom off of the front room of the church. All teens are welcomed to attend this. |
We also offer youth activities at least once a month, for all the youth to join together and fellowship, to make friends, and to see what
God has purposed in their lives.
Adult Ministries |
Pastor Dominick has taught that as our church grows, we need more people to serve in the various areas of the church.
Here are just a few examples of service. We are also looking to start a more organized youth outreach in the near future. Please pray to see where you could fit in
our Body. |

Men's Ministries: Encourages the men to become more involved in the
workings of the church; to help meet the needs of the congregation and our community and continues to provide new fellowship opportunities.
Each month there is an activity where the men meet, have dinner and Bible Study. Usually meets the 3rd Saturday of each month. |

Women's Ministries: Also known as "Grace Jewels": Our Women's
Ministry is actively involved to encourage our women and to serves within the church to bless the Body of Christ. The Women's Ministry creatively makes opportunities to
gather and encourage each other in the faith, and is available on a personal level to meet or answer questions, helping to adequately convey the Love of God. Currently
offering a monthly women's potluck luncheon, the first Saturday of each month in a different woman's home; Small Groups; and quarterly Ladies Night Out.

Evangelism: One ministry of our church is evangelism. This
exciting ministry is for those who wish to share their faith, encourage others, or simply would like to let others know about the good news of the gospel of grace!. We
typically go out in pairs, with an experienced leader. New people in this outreach can share or just watch and pray with their team member. We stress a non-threatening
approach and one never goes away without being amazed at the welcome reception and the needs of the people in our community. |
Around the Church |
Prayer: God calls us to a deep prayer life and to bear the burdens of
souls, saved and unsaved to Him. We, as a Body of Grace, are compelled to go to the throne of God together in prayer. Our example, Jesus Christ, taught us about prayer in John
17. God hears the petitions of His people as they humbly turn to Him in prayer (Ps. 10:17). Currently we have a prayer group meeting every Thursday evening in the chapel at
6:15 p.m., prior to the mid-week service. Everyone is welcome. |

Music: The music ministry is used to prepare a person's heart
to hear the Pastor's message. This is done through the use of music appropriate for each gathering and can include joyful praise and celebration to help the people focus on
Christ and to enter into a reverence of God. When Christ is exalted through corporate worship and music, then people can be released from daily burdens and have their hearts
and minds prepared to receive the message of grace and mercy, that leads to transformed lives. |

Audio/Visual: The purpose of the Audio/Visual Ministry is to
support the Music Ministry and provide the best possible listening environment for the preaching of God's Word. Recording of the message is a vital part of this ministry. In
addition, this ministry is often enlisted for special events, concerts and other occasions. Also included is the preparation of music slides, set-up of sound
equipment, microphones, etc. |

Audio Recordings: Each message at every service is recorded and
made available on compact disc. Most service recordings are available on-line from 2007 to the present.
Please check out our Audio Sermons online! Many choose to purchase these recordings for further
reflection and thought. Sunday School teachers or absent church members can obtain these recordings so they don't miss any opportunity to hear what the Spirit is saying to the
Church. |

Facilities Ministry: The Facilities Ministry works to insure a clean,
comfortable, secure and attractive environment for worship, classes and fellowship. A little known, but well needed ministry in the church. These unseen persons help set
up tables, chairs, and other needs for services, dinners, and also provide general cleaning to the property. This ministry of helps allows the Pastor and other leaders be able
to do their service, without worrying about the upkeep of the church property. |

Hospitality Ministry: The Hospitality Ministry sets up and maintains the "Grace Cafe" area, where we serve
coffee, tea, water and snacks before Sunday morning service. Please feel free and join us for some socializing and conversation before and after Sunday services. |

Deacons Ministry: Our Deacons Board are five men who have been selected to share with the Pastor the
responsibility for the welfare of the local church and aid in administrative duties where needed. General responsibilities of the Board of Deacons shall include: coordination
and utilization of all physical facilities for church services or meetings; selection of Church ushers and attendants; music for the services; overall administration of the
Sunday school and nursery; Church publicity, and other financial responsibilities of the church. |
